Apabila jiwa kosong
maka kehidupan 
umpama lorong duka lara,
simpang siurnya 
adalah kekeliruan  dan kekecewaan
sedangkan deru anginnya 
adalah nyanyian kedukaan.

 

 
Tidak ada lagi keindahan pada mahligai tersergam
juga kebahagiaan pada segala kemewahan dan solekan dunia.

Jiwa adalah sarang kebahagiaan,
taman ketenangan dengan seribu janji senyuman.

 

Kemanakah perginya kelazatan
pada sajian hebat yang terhidang dimeja kehidupan.
Dari manakah datangnya kepanasan
